Drafting a letter of advice
Go from a blank matter to a finished, firm-branded PDF without leaving the chat — drafted from your real facts, never invented.

Open the Templates picker
In Matter Chat, click the Templates pill and choose a letter type — e.g. Letter of Advice, Development Application Response, or one of your firm's custom templates.

Let topicAI draft from the real matter facts
The draft is written from your uploaded documents and confirmed matter details. Anything it can't confirm is left as a clear [INSERT ...] placeholder — never guessed or invented.

Refine it like any other chat message
Ask for changes in plain English — "make the tone more formal," "add a paragraph about the heritage overlay" — the draft updates in place.

Export as a branded PDF
Click Print to PDF. The export uses your firm's letterhead, logo, and sign-off automatically — no manual formatting.
Tip: set your firm's letterhead once in Firm Settings (top-right account menu) and every letter drafted from then on uses it automatically.
